Where is my download?
You processed a file, but nothing downloaded. Before worrying, run through these — the file is almost certainly fine, and the download is usually one setting away.
Check the browser first
- Look for the download bar or popup. Chrome and Edge show downloads at the top-right; Safari shows a download icon in the toolbar; Firefox shows a panel. Your file may be sitting there waiting.
- Check the Downloads folder on your device. Most browsers save automatically without asking.
- Allow the popup. Some tools open the result in a new tab for preview. If your browser blocked the popup, allow popups for the portal and run the job again (re-running a completed job's download doesn't cost quota — only processing does).
- Check "Ask where to save." If your browser is set to ask for a location each time, the save dialog may be hiding behind the window.
On phones and tablets
iPhones save to the Files app → Downloads, not to Photos. Android saves to the Downloads folder or the notification shade. If "nothing happened," open Files/Downloads before retrying.
If the job itself never finished
No download appears when processing failed partway. Check the tool page for an error message — a corrupt input file or an unsupported format stops the job before any download is generated. Fix the input and retry; failed jobs don't consume quota.
Good to know
- File names include the tool and date (e.g. receipt-2026-10-04.csv) so they're easy to spot in a crowded Downloads folder.
- Split PDF delivers a ZIP containing the page ranges — unzip it to see the individual files.
- Private/incognito windows sometimes route downloads oddly. If a download vanishes, retry in a normal window.
- Corporate or school devices may block downloads entirely — try a personal device to confirm.
- Still missing? Tell us the tool, the approximate time, and your account email via the report form, and we'll trace the job.
