Upgrade your plan
Upgrading gives you a bigger monthly document quota immediately. The whole thing takes about two minutes from the Pricing page, and you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you like.
How to upgrade
- Open the portal and go to the Pricing page (linked in the header and in your account menu).
- Compare the plans and click Upgrade on the one you want.
- Choose monthly or yearly billing. Yearly costs less per month — it's the equivalent of getting two months free.
- Enter your payment details on the secure checkout page and confirm.
- Your new quota is active immediately. The usage meter in the header updates right away.
How billing works after you upgrade
You're billed for the first period immediately, and your new document allowance starts at the same moment — you don't wait for the next 1st of the month. After that, you're billed automatically at each renewal (monthly or yearly) until you change or cancel.
Switching between plans
Upgrades apply instantly with a prorated charge for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date, so you keep the higher quota until the period you've paid for ends. Switching between monthly and yearly billing on the same plan also takes effect at renewal.
Good to know
- You can upgrade from the free plan or from pay as you go — there's no waiting period and no penalty.
- If you hit your quota mid-month on a paid plan, upgrading to the next tier immediately refills your allowance.
- Payment is by card through our secure checkout. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Your invoice is available right after payment in the Billing section, and a receipt is emailed to you.
- Upgrading doesn't change anything about your account, files, or history — only the quota number goes up.
