Merge PDF

Merge PDF combines 2 to 20 PDF files into a single PDF, in whatever order you arrange them. It's the fix for the classic problem of a "document" that's actually five separate attachments.

When to use it

Assembling a complete application packet, combining monthly statements into one file, joining a signed signature page back onto its contract, or bundling related documents for email. If you've ever sent three attachments that should have been one file, this is the tool.

How to use it

  1. Open Merge PDF and upload 2–20 PDF files.
  2. Drag the files into the order you want them to appear.
  3. Click merge and download the combined PDF. One merge = one document of quota.

What the output looks like

A single PDF containing all pages from all inputs, in your order. Original page sizes and orientations are preserved — a landscape page stays landscape in the merged file.

Good to know

  • Order is everything. The merged file follows your arrangement exactly, so arrange carefully — especially for contracts and applications.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first. Remove the password in your PDF reader, then merge.
  • Merging doesn't compress: 5 files of 10 MB become one 50 MB file. Compress first if size matters.
  • The merged PDF isn't text-searchable unless the inputs were. Scanned inputs stay scanned — run the result through Searchable PDF if needed.
  • There's a 20-file cap per merge. For bigger jobs, merge in batches, then merge the batches.
