Business Card to CSV
Business Card to CSV reads a photo of a business card and pulls out the name, title, company, phone numbers, email, and address into a single CSV row. It's the fastest way to digitize the stack of cards from a conference or networking event.
When to use it
After conferences, trade shows, sales meetings — anywhere cards accumulate. The CSV imports into CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce), email tools, Google Contacts, or a plain spreadsheet. One card per photo gives the best results; it's not designed for group shots of several cards.
How to use it
- Open Business Card to CSV and upload a straight-down photo of one card (JPG, PNG, or HEIC).
- The tool identifies the name, job title, company, phone, mobile, email, website, and address.
- Review the fields on screen — names and emails deserve a glance, since a misread email is a lost contact.
- Download the CSV. Each card = one document of quota.
What the output looks like
One row per card with columns: full name, title, company, phone, mobile, email, website, street address, city, state, ZIP, country. Process cards one at a time and the rows accumulate into a clean contact list.
Good to know
- Unusual layouts — vertical cards, dark backgrounds with light text, heavy graphics — extract less reliably than standard horizontal cards. Retake with better contrast if fields come back empty.
- Non-English cards work, but field labeling (which line is the title vs. the company) is most reliable in English.
- Double-sided cards: process the front and back as two jobs, then merge the rows in your spreadsheet.
- QR codes printed on cards aren't decoded by this tool — use the QR scanner in the QR Code Generator tool for those.
- Always verify email addresses before a bulk send. A single wrong character means a bounce.
